1994 Pontiac Bonneville heater takes long toheat up

My heater takes along time to heat up I changed the thermometer and still will not heat up like it should I changed the cap

check the hoses going to the3 heater core and see if they are hot, if one is hot then i would suspect a clogged heater core. also if you can gain access to under the dash you can check to make sure the blend door is fully on hot. i check this by switching from hot to cold and see what door moves then make sure it goes fully in each direction
