Hi my odometer and trip stopped rolling the other daty now it is making a constant clicking noise inside of the dash when the car is moving. My question is how do I fix the odometer and what could be and have caused the problem?

The odometer cable is either broken or stripped. It connects from the transmission to the back of the odometer. You have to pull the dast apart to gain access.

No the trip meter is part of your odometer. It does not have anything to do with your problem. If you repair the odometer your trip meter will work as it did before. You must take the dash board out and remove the gauge cluster that your odometer mounts to. The cable - like I mentioned - connects to the back of the odometer and runs through the firewall and then connects to the transmission. It's up to you to decide whether it's worth it. I suggest looking at the job and get a price on a new or used cable and go from there. I do not know how mechanicaly inclined you are - but it is not a hard job -- it's just time consuming.
