This car has always had alternator problems - I've replaced alternators 4 times between 1997 and 2010.
It wouldn't start Sunday. We jumped it and charged for 30 minutes. It started.
Tuesday evening it wouldn't start again. This time, however, the headlights and radio still worked! But it wouldn't start.
Signs point to alternator, but is there a way to find out more information before losing money over this?
