My interior lights wont shut off. Ive had to pull the fuse in order to shut them off. The manual switch doesn't over ride them even in the off or door position. But the dimmer stick that pops out of the switch still works. I was wondering if it was just the switch or this problem might be connected to the automatic headlamp system which is working fine?

Any Information would be so appreciated

Try disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it. I had a bad BCM on my 01 which made my AC not work and hatch wouldnt open. I fooled it by disconnecting the battery a few times but one time I left the battery unplugged to long and when I reconnected the interior lights would not shut off. A quick disconnect and reconnect fixed the problem

Where is the fuse for the interior lights at? I have looked in both the outside and inside fuse boxes and cannot find anything about the interior lights.

Welcome to 2CarPros. If you are having an issue with the interior lights on a 2004 Pontiac Aztek the power for them comes from the Body Control Module. There is no individual fuse for the lights. BCM L is the fuse that powers the module. However removing it would cause most of the other items the BCM powers or controls to stop working as well.
What is the problem you are having and please verify the vehicle.

I found what I was looking for yesterday. It was a blown fuse. I had to look in the owners manual to find it.

Which fuse? The factory info only shows the BCM fuse. If there is another one that isn't listed knowing it is there might help others.
