2002 Pontiac Aztek Noise in rear end
Tires and Wheels problem
2002 Pontiac Aztek 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 92795 miles
Hi When I turn right or left my back wheels make a whinning noise. We had the wheel bearing changed twice and the knuckle and we had a wheel alignment and new tires. what do you think this noise could be?

Rear disc or drum?
Are you turning on blacktop?
Will it do it in reverse?

It does not do in reverse . And it does'nt matter what kind of pavement.

Found a TSB for updated rear diff. fluid (PN 12378514). Drain and fill with new fluid, drive in a RH circle for 5 min. then drive in a LH circle for 5 min. then drain and fill again.
