Air Conditioning problem
2002 Pontiac Aztek All Wheel Drive Automatic 73,000 miles

I tried to turn on my AC today, because the weather has changed. But I can't get ANY cold air to come out even after letting it run or driving for awhile. When I got home I checked while the vehicle was parked and running and can't even hear the compressor coming on when the switch inside on the dash is pressed (and the indicator light does come on). I haven't had any warning lights come on. I did check the fuse box under the hood and the fuse (#2) and air conditioner relay, both are okay.

The only other problem I have had recently is that the car has just "died" two separate times in the last month. Both while driving slowly through parking lots. The battery light came on, engine stopped, lost power steering, etc (though the radio continued playing). After turing off the ignition the vehicle immediately starts right back up. I don't think they are related, but thought I'd throw it out there.

This happened to my 01 Atec and I figured out the body control modual went out. It is about $300 to replace and have dealer program but I found simply disconnecting battery and reconnecting will temporarily solve problem.
