I recently had trouble with my transmssion on a 1994 Plymouth Grand Voyager. I took out the transmission and got a rebuild kit. Now I am putting the transmission back in but it won't line up correctly. I can't get the bottom pegs to slide in. Does the shaft on the transmission need to be turned a certain way to go on the torque convertor and on the motor. Thank you for any advise you can give me

on that trans i think you need to make sure the converter is seated on allthe way if you can put your fingers inbetween
the converter and bellhousing its not in enough try spining the converter slowly while pushing on the backendof the converter
