CUT ME OFF

I have a 1995 plymouth voyager 2wd 3.0 at 140000 miles. The van starts up very well and runs pretty good. The only problem is that when I put the van in gear, it shuts off. It also shuts off when iI'm at a stop light. I have to put the van in neutral just to keep it running a little longer. I took to a friend of mine and he told me that it was the idle control valve and sensors that hed to be replaced. I am pretty good with replacing parts but I would like to make sure that I don't take off something that I don't have to take off.

I think before you replace the IACV -you should remove and clean it and see what happens-while you're on that area check the TPS connection or test it.
