Interior front carpet is wet and is stickey to touch
there is nothing on the windshield as in film pertaining to bad heater core but maybe that is what it is. The car is not running warm thte engine temprature is normal but the carpet is soaked trying to figure what it is and if it is a heater core is there a way to tell that is for sure. And teh expense of the repair is it very expensive. Thank you for you help.

Hi:
If the carpet is wet on the passanger side, sticky, and has a dead fish smell, it's most likely the heater core.

The only way to be 100% sure is to open it up and check. As far as cost, the part should be under 75 dollars, but don't forget coolant and labor.

If you need directions, let me know.

I want to say thak you for your attention in this matter. I know it is time consuming to answer 100's or even 1000's of question everyday. I wish I were in a position to contribute and make a donation, I certainly would. It was very helpful and quick all I can do for now is say thank you.
