It has been taking 3 tries to start for several months.
Runs fine except after running a long time or idling, there is smoke coming from under hood. Checked oil, antifreeze, belts, fuses, etc.
Next day engined turns over but will not start.
A week later it starts. The exact same thing happens. This time it will not start. checked plugs, fuses, and tried to jump it. Friend said all plugs were sparking correctly but the the 1st on coil pack did not spark. Is it the coil pack? Would the coil pack smoke?
