When I start to press the gas pedal, my van starts studdering. When I reach about 60 MPH, it smooths out. This morning it started studdering faster and worse, then the check engine light came on.

Hi:
It sounds like there is a sensor problem. If the check engine light is on, take the van to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for codes. Most will do it for free. When you get them, let me know what you find and I'll be able to better direct you.
