the engine will start and quit. this will happen 4 times and then it won;t do anything. Sometimes it will start and keep running and you can drive it without any problems. you turn it off and it will start and quit 4 times and then it won;t do anything again.

1st step should be checking for codes
after it stalls
have to check for spark and check for fuel
open hood and locate ASD relay
in relay and fuse box near battery
mark it and switch it with another similar relay
also check if no spark suspect and check or replace crank sensor
no fuel pressure check and suspect fuel pump
let me know what do you have for codes and or what is missing

Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located below driver's side of instrument panel

After about 5 minutes the all the guages quit working and the abs, check engine light and alarm set light went on. I took it Advanced auto and they hooked up the machine and cod p1698 came up.
