The fuse keeps blowing on the AC Clutch Relay and the air shuts off. The fan keeps blowing, but the AC doesn't engage. Any ideas on why the fuse keeps blowing? Put in new fuse today, started car, works fine. Drove 3 miles, shut car off, restarted, no AC. The mechanic at a shop I carried it, lifted the hood, peeked at the fuses, replaced the fuse and said it should work fine now. It doesnt.

Appears you have a bad clutch coil drawing to many amps thus fuse blows.
You can out an amp meter across the fuse terms. Turn on AC sould read about 10amp. If higher bad coil.
Also you can ohm coil @3ohms if higher bad coil.
Hope this helps
