How to properly seal the side pan on the tranmission with rtv sealant

Any transmission pan is better seaed with the right gasket...with the pan removed you need to remove the shap edges around the bolt holes, I do it by putting a deep socket in a vise, then using a ball peen hammer on each hole tapp gently till you flatten the scarp edge, if you don't do this, the holes cut the new gasket!
