I had a serpentine belt put on my van last week. Every since then, the wiper lights blink for about 1/2 hour before they go out. What would cause this and what do I need to do to correct this?

This is sometimes caused by a battery replacement or a glitch in the system. What I did I pressed and held the rear washer and rear wiper buttons at the same time for five seconds or until all leds light up. Make sure you have the vehicle running first. After all of them light up the rear wiper and intermittent lights will flash alternately. After about 2 to 3 minutes the rear wiper light should be blinking. Just push the button and it should go off.I hope this helps Good luck. Robert(1968)
