Transmission problem
1998 Plymouth Voyager 6 cyl Automatic 190000 miles

Recently my van's gears started slipping while driving down the road, at any speed. I put stop slip in, without luck. I changed the filter and fluids, and it worked for about 1 1/2 days and then started again, but only here and there. Now all of a sudden I will getting going down the road and be doing 50mph and it will be running at 4 rpms and won't shift. A friend suggested checking the neutral switch. I'm not sure where or what that is, or if it will even help. Any suggestions, other than the one that I am trying to avoid which is replacement of the transmission? Thanks for any help you can give!
