1998 Plymouth Voyager speedometer

I have a 1998 plymouth voyager. All the gages work exept the speedometer untill u get up to about 50 and it will start reading 20 mph and up what would cause that

Hi:
Remove the cable from behind the dash and spray a little WD40 into the cable. Also, when you have it apart, see if you can spin the cable. If you can, the cable is broken internally. If you can't spin it with your fingers, it should be fine.
