Sometime driving the instrument panel just stops working all guages quit gas temp and speed the odometer is digital and goes out and miles do not register automatic door locks do not operate they will operate manually with the switch on door panel this may go on through several trips and then it will start working again. Also the ABS light comes on and stays on while the guages are not working but will go out when they re-start. I can not donate anything at this time I have not been able to work for 5 month due being disabled (legally blind) if you can help my wife would appreciate it very much as she is the only driver now

It's the electrical connector on the circuit board behind the insturment cluster. The solder connections are poor and crack all the time. This is easily repaired. Dont let a shop sell you a new one for $400. It takes a mechanic about an hour to fix. It cures all the other problems too. Those are caused bu trouble codes due to the broken connectors.
