I brought it to a friend of a friend and he scanned it for codes, he said it was only running on 2 cylinders and that it said ignition coil malfunction. I replaced the coil, the spark plugs and plug wires and still runs the same. any other idea's out there? It does have a bad head gasket which I have replaced twice and am not interested in doing again, just watch oil level closely and fill as needed, as I have heard this engine is known to blow head gaskets.

You need to fix the headgasket could be it that's causing the misfiring. due to coolant or oil fouling the plugs up

there is oil in the coolant but no coolant in the oil, has been running great for 3 years with the blown head gasket, you still think that is it, and they charged me over $1000 to do it last time, dois that sound right?
