Check engine light has been ramdomly coming on and going off. It is now blinking. The van is running good. What should I check

If the check engine l;ight is blinking then the truck is not running good. A blinking check engine light means there is a engine skip thaqt is so bad it will cause catalytic converter to fail if you keep driving it. Check plugs and wires.
