1994 Plymouth Voyager starting

Car starts well, even at 20 below zero.
but once driven to do a few errands ,will not start or even crank over until it sits for an hour or so.

Do you hear a single clunk from the starter when you try to start the engine? If so, just keep cycling the ignition switch to "Crank" until it starts. This could take three or four tries, or, as in the case of my mother's van, 700 tries and a blister on her thumb before she lost count!

This problem is caused by worn contacts in the starter solenoid. They can be replaced for 20 bucks, but most people just replace the entire starter. The problem will gradually get worse.
