1993 Plymouth Voyager, 250,000 mi. This van sat for about 3 years, a couple of weeks ago we got a new battery for it and it started right up, as soon as it started we drove it to the gas station and put fresh gasoline in it, I drove it a couple times to work and it ran okay besides it needing oil change and stuf like that. Then I tried to start it for the third day and it would crank up like it was fixing to start but it just wouldn't catch, almost like the engine isn't recieving any gas, we have replaced the fuel filter since we thought the old gas from it sitting for so long may have clogged it but that wasn't it, do you think it could be the pump? Someone else has said it could be the brain in the computer or something. I don't know, please help.

first put in fresh new fuel. then after a tank of gas check for a fuel pressure at the fuel rail, if no pressure check for voltage at connector if you have sufficient voltage then replace the pump if none check the fuse and the relay.

also check for spark.
