My van recently broke down and turns over but wont start. I was starting to have fuel mileage problems when my gas lights remained on even though i would put half a tank of fuel in and only get half the mileage. The computer/mini trip computer also shows there is no DTE of how much fuel is left. It had been running for a bit and i changed the spark plugs, alternator belt and fuel filter but i still didnt help.
My fuel pump works cause i can hear the hum when i turn the van on.
My friend said it could be the computer but i have no idea where or even how to test. Can you please help me for i have a small child and cant be left without a vehicle.
