I have only owned this car for a week. I know the guy I bought it from and he never had this problem. It is overheating badly. First the fan was not working so I installed a toggle switch to manually turn it on after hard wiring to battery. For 1 day that worked. Then overheated again. Changed the thermostate, replaced rad, worked again for 1 day. Next day after using for about 4 hours. Over heated again. What more can we check or do to repair this problem. We even made sure there were no air locks in the hoses and filled coolant from the bolt above the thermostat.

All you got left is the water pump is it doing its job pumping? If okay -Get it block and pressure tested to rule out a blown headgasket, cracked head and block and an intake leak
