I just bought a 1997 plymouth neon and was changing out the plugs and wires and noticed there was oil on the plugs. It got thicker as I changed the fourth plug, what does this mean? Is this fixable? Reach me here or at dchesebro02@yahoo. Com. Thank you in advance

Hi:

Based on how many miles are on the vehicle, the rings may be getting bad. If it runs ok, I would just use it the way it is unless you feel there is a hazard. If you want to know, have a compression test done to see if the rings are bad. Keep in mind, the compression rings may be ok and the oil rings could be worn.
