2000 Plymouth Neon disconnecting radiator fan

Plug will not move red lock is down where I believe it should be.

That lock has to slide over all of theway to unplug it. If hardly any red is visible, then it needs to go the other way. Sometimes they can be a pain, you may need to push the lock over with a small screwdriver
