OLD 318 MOTOR.TRYING TO BUST LOOSE OIL FILTER.NOT SURE HOW LONG ITS BEEN ON THERE.COULD YOU TELL ME DOES IT TURN CLOCK WISE TO GET OFF?DUMB ? HUH

It turns counterclockwise -sounds like its clogged-up
