I have a loud clatter from the right rear area of my car when driving. I fear something might have come loose?

If it is a tinny kind of noise, check for a loose heat sheild along the exhaust or a broken exhaust hanger.

IF it is going over bumps when it happens, check for upper shock mounts.

IF both are okay, post back with more details on the noise and under what conditions it happens.

Sorry for the delay in geting back. I had my car checked today. I need a strut replaced and upper shock mount. Thank you for your input on it.
