1998 Plymouth Breeze not starting

My sister was in an accident recently. While fixing it, I had to disconnect the airbag sensor on the front bumper support beam (before this, the vehicle did run). I disconnected and when I connected the battery back up, I tried to start the car and it did not turn over, all you heard was the click the fuel pump makes when it is turned on. The Battery is charged and the starter is good. That I am sure of. The car is getting power to it cuz everything turns on. Also, the light on the steering column is blinking. I believe it is a light for the air bag. The air bag never went off though, and the airbag light comes on. Is there a way to reset the airbag sensors? Can I disconnnect and connect the sensor while the battery is plugged in without setting the airbag off? I need to get this car running, ASAP

Ok well I got the car running but I dont know what I did, but what still would like to know is what I did to fix it, cuz I guess someone that was helping me, went in the car and started pressing a whole bunch of buttons and everything, and when I went to start it, it started right up. I dont know what we did but if anyone possibly knows, that would be great.

Ok well we I figured the problem out. It turned out to be the alarm system. All that had to be done was lock the doors and unlock them with the keyless entry. Simple fix. Hope it helps someone in the future.
