I have a 96 Plymouth Breeze, 2.0 liter, 4 cyl, automatic trans. It has 135,000 miles on it. Is getting older so I have a few questions?
1. The left side blinker is flashing very fast and does not show in the rear of car that you are turning?
2. The heater/air conditioner only blows out the defrost?
3. The H/AC knob only blows air on high?
4. While idling at a light, the car just shuts off, it will usually start right back up?
5. Where the mileage shows, it now dings back and forth between saying door then mileage. Most of the time now it stays on door?

In the last year, I have had the cam sensor leak oil and it was changed. I have all the timing belts changed. It has had a tune up. The starter has been replaced. I bought the car new in 97 with 40 miles on it. Since then I have had to have the headgasket changed 3 times for leaking oil. Also have had the rear main seal changed once. I like my car, but is getting very expensive on keeping it going. Any help you can offer on my questions would be helpful, thank you.

Hey jenn35,

yes I have had trouble with oil leakage since I bought the car. I had to have the headgasket changed while it was still under warranty. Then again 2 more times and now the cam sensor. I'm with ya as far as I really like my car, but I have certainly had enough oil problems with it. It is very expensive to fix. Good luck with yours. Stewartslady

#3 is the blower motor resistor
#1 the rear bulb is possibly blown
the others I would look into checking the connections on the BCM, also for lack of better terms those little buttons that hold in while your doors are shut may have a loose wire they are simple to remove and may fix that problem, I would remove the hvac control unit and see that all the connections are solid, sorry for the late comment hope this helps you
