This car has a front end problem probably related to worn out struts between 30to40 MPH there is a pretty good wobble that will slowly go away, but will appear again This appeared after changing two front tires and greasing front suspension QUESTION do I need to replace the mcpherson struts or do I have worn out suspension components

Hi:
Try the bounce test. Bounce the front of the car. If it stops bouncing in three or less bounces, the struts are good. If that is the case, I would check ball joints, and all other steering components. This is odd to have occurred after new tires were put on it. I wonder if there is a problem with one of the tires? There could be a shifted belt causing the tire to be out of round.

Check that out and let me know what you find.

Joe
