Have a 1989 Plymouth Acclaim with 150,000 miles on it.It has been a very good and reliable car,one of Chrysler's better cars. The car is old and it has to be replaced soon.My problem is when the car is cold,it takes 3,4 maybe 5 times before it turns over.Once it starts,it will run for few minutes then it stalls.Start up again and it repeats its self. When warm it runs fine. What is my problem?

Start with the basics, can you check for codes? You cycle the key three times (on/off on/off on) then the check engine lite starts flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes.

Can you check fuel pressure?

When it refuses to start, are you saying it cranks good, but won't start or it won't even crank?
