Pick up coil found loose copper wire?

So, I had to replace the condenser. When I put the distributor together and started it up, I could hear a noise. Took it apart and found loose copper wire from the pick-up coil. I'm trying to get a new one and the part does not match up to the old one. I'm thinking someone put a different distributor in my car.

It sounds like you need a rebuilt distributor for your car. Here are the instructions and part number needed for a correct installation.

Igniter is external.

They don't show the ignition module, but I found the engine wiring diagrams which have the ignition ignitor. Check out the images (below). Please let us know how it goes
