2000 Other Peugeot Models

Internal heater was slowly cutting out intermittently now does not work at all. Have checked all fuses and they seem ok.

Sounds like the heater motor brushes have gone. These are electrical contacts inside the heater motor, this can be a tricky repair if you have no experience? Contact me if you need more details?

Thank for your reply. Did change control unit but this had no effect. Is their any relays that could be faulty, because it does start up again every now and again. Have also checked ignition switch which seems ok. Getting desperate now.

Would have to know the exact model of peugot we are talkin about b4 can say about relay? The brushes are carbon brushes which are actually inside the heater unit motor not in the control unit?
