2000 Peugeot 206 what is wrong with my car?

2000 Peugeot 206 Manual 81000 miles

My peugeot 206 has suddenly lost its power when driving.....takes ages to get up to 2nd and 3rd gear...what is wrong with this?? your advice would be much appreciated.

have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to locate where the fault lies !!
