2000 Peugeot 206 sounds rough,struggles to move

when i start the car it sounds really rough,when i put it in first gear i have to lift the clutch up really far to move but then it struggles and splutters then cuts out

check spark plugs/coils and wires

Sorry for the delay in the reply .. we are all volunteer technicians and actually work in garages/workshops full time, so cannot always be avaliable to answer questions, we are not emoployed by the forum .. we only get a percentage of the donated questions .. if you had donated, even $1, your question would have been answered in 24 hours. this is not to say you have to donate, just please be patient in waiting for a reply, I hope this does not deter you from using our site in the future, I try to answer questions every day but with family and work commitments, this is not always possible.
