1999 Peugeot 206 Repair Question

1999 Peugeot 206 central locking
When I got the car the central locking worked fine but now when I lock the doors the lock on the boot just growls and it can still be opened when the other doors are locked. Do you know how I can fix this? or if I have to take it to a garage if it will be expensive? Thanks.

it is probably just sticking due to a build up of dirt .. take some WD40 and squirt it all over the lock and operate a few time .. should clear up your fault .. if it doesn't and you take to mechanic .. it won't be an expensive repair
