Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Peugeot 206 Manual 75000 miles

my car has been cutting out randomly for about a week now, it seems to only cut out when my clutch is pressed, the engine light comes on and then all lights appear on dashboard and the car has lost power, it starts again straight away but is quite hazardess... it also it starting sometimes but losing power if i keep revs it stays going but as soon as i take revs off it stops any ideas? i have visited other forums and they suggested the ignition coil pack?
