The car seemed to be overheating took to agrage got new thermostat and coolant.

Car still running hot, just over a hundred town driving anf 110 ehn you put your foot down.

Man at gargae says that normal (is hot weather at the mo).

What is the normal depreture you woudl expect? If it goes over 110 should I take it back to the garage?

I would take it back now before you damage the engine beyond repair .. normal operating temp is around 90 .. could be numerous reasons for overheating ... but it needs to be checked out .. you may wanna steer clear of the mechanic who told ya this was normal ??
