Transmission problem
1994 Peugeot 205 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 185000 miles

hi, i am only 14 but i bought an old banger yesterday for 60 pounds of someone i know. as crap as it sounds it actually ran fine untill today when i heard a bang and the car is stuck in 1st gear and the gear lever is floppy forwards to back but not really side to side i was wondering what the problem is, i hear it could be linkage
