Engine Mechanical problem
1992 Peugeot 205 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 40000 miles

My car had a few problems so i got new spark plugs, distributer cap, rotary arm and ht leads. i replaced all except the ht leads and it worked perfect. When i had time i then swapped over the ht leads, and now i cant get the car started. I swapped the ht leads one by one so am sure there in the right order.

My cars a Peugeot 205 Gentry with firing order 1-3-4-2, i have tried swapping 3 & 4 incase i had got it the wrong way when changing over and this fires up but sounds almost like a tractor (a bit like its only firing on 3 cylinders).

I have tried swapping back to the originals but still wont work.

Any suggestions??
