1997 Peugeot 106 repair of hand brake
Brakes problem
1997 Peugeot 106 Front Wheel Drive Manual 101087 miles
If one puts the car onto a raised platform to repair hand brake shoes, could the front brake discs and pads be visible? And if the hand brake unit was unsatisfactorily fixed to the vehicle what sort of welding job would need to be carried out, would it require taking up the carpets and removing the front seats?

you can see the disc's and inner pads from under vehicle while on lift !! .. depends on which part you are welding ? .. safest option would be to remove carpet and soundproofing
