I went to take my car out of park, and put it in drive, I had to force the parking gear, out to get it into drive, all other gears are fine, like drive, reverse, low, all others, I got it out of park, went to check on my brother, could not get it back into park, so I could shut it off, finally I was able to get it back in park.

It may be a shift interlock problem make sure brake pedal is pushed down from removing it from park, otherwise it may need an adjustment or the cable has stretched. Have a local mechanic take a peek at this.

We do not need the VIN thanks. Make sure to check fuses as that may be the problem as well. It is fuse ERLS on left hand side of dash.
