I'm back! Hey Ken, well, it was driving fine went probably 35/40 miles in/out of traffic today. I changed the fluid/filter in the transmission fluid level is good. I didn't change all 16 quarts of fluid (you know not that in the torque conv). Just from the pan. Then it's fine for this long. Do you think it's the turbine sensor or dirty fluid? Also, could the play in the rearend yoke have something to do with it? If so, is there a way to tighten up the slack in the rearend?

Hey Willie,

It sounds like the Input shaft or turbine shaft speed sensor is bad.

The error code P2767 in a 2005 Dodge Magnum corresponds to an issue with the Transmission Control Module (TCM).

Here is how to change the sensor it out (1). Be sure to clear the codes after the repair is complete. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I have a nag 1 transmission. Isn't the sensor on the conductor plate inside the transmission?

Maybe it is a mid-year change, I would inspect the transmission and if the sensor is not on the side of the transmission it is inside on the conductor plate. Please let us know what you find.

I've already changed out the conductor plate with the sensor on it. So far, it's doing okay. Kind of slow changing into 3rd hopefully it's just fluid level!
