Hello. I need some help figuring out why my valve connecting to my throttle body has oil in it? I cleaned it and it ran after for about 10ish minutes and the same amount came back when I inspected it again. The codes I received have put my vehicle into limp mode. They made my car have a rough idle while it was in limp mode and RMPS fluctuates a little without limp mode. I do not know what to look into. PCV, turbo (I know it has a crack, probably stress crack, near the fan), injectors, valve cover gasket, piston blowby?

These are throttle pedal position sensors codes, but and can be the throttle body causing it, that is the catch 22 on this problem. Since the throttle body take the most abuse the go there first. When cleaning it it must be done thoroughly.

P2135 - Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A/B Voltage Correlation:
P0222 - Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch B Circuit Low Input:

You can try getting the pedal sensor and try it first since it is the easiest. Or yo can try testing the output of the sensor which I can show you.

Here is the location of the sensor. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

I replaced the throttle body today and I am planning to do the position sensor later on. I drove for 45 minutes at varying speeds (highway and residential speeds) and no codes yet. I am going to replace that sensor if I have issues. Thank you. Do you have a ballpark of when codes should pop back up if I have more issues?

Scratch the previous comment. The vehicle actually went into limp mode again today p06a3 and is running a little rough while it was in limp mode! I took it to the nearest auto service center (Dobbs) and I will see about that there. Thank you! I might sell the car if I have to keep worrying about it going into limp mode
