I have a P0712 transmission Code along with P0300 misfire code. I need help with the P0712 code. My question is, do I just change the fluid and filter or replace the transmission?
Also, the code refers to a transmission temperature sensor on which I don't know where its located.

Hi,

I don't feel the transmission needs to be replaced. Also, the fluid itself isn't the cause. You likely have a short in the wiring harness to the transmission.

I attached diagnostics below for you. Take a look through them and let me know if you are comfortable performing them.

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe

Thanks. I cleared the code, and I changed the fluid and filter. It's been a few days since and the code did not come back, but a slight drag when shifting.
