i have changed all the discs and pads on my zafira 2.0 dti
soon after the caliper seized changed caliper and disc to be on safe side but took it out went about five miles smoke again from the same wheel handbrake seems to be working fine I even went to the extent of changing the discs over to see if the problem would swap over but still the same side where am I going wrong please help

Hi there,

With the brake dragging, crack the bleeder to see if it backs off, this will show us if it is a mechanical or hydraulic problem, start here.

Hi tried to crack the bleed nipple but wheel is still tight takes two hands to turn it

If it is still dragging with no hydraulic pressure it will be a mechanical fault with the caliper, the caliper will have to be inspected for a fault a stuck piston or stuck slides if a single piston caliper.
