Hi,

The vehicle isn't offered in the US, but I will try to help.

If you have no spark or starter engagement, have you checked for ignition or starter fuse issues in the under hood fuse/relay box? Do all other electrical components work? Have you checked the starter for power?

You indicate you are a mechanic, so I'm not sure what to add that will help you. However, here is a link that explains how to check for power at the starter. I hope it helps.

Let me know.

To me it sounds like you have a crankshaft angle sensor that needs to be replaced from what you have described. Here is a guide that will give you an idea of what you are in for when doing the job Your car will be a little different but you will get the idea.

Hi,

I'm not real familiar with the vehicle because it isn't offered in the US. However, I try my best to help.

First, the most common cause of having a no spark condition is a faulty crankshaft position sensor. Now, since there was a lot of work just done, something could have been left disconnected.

Here is a link that explains in general how a crankshaft position sensor is replaced. Take a look through it and then try to locate the one on your vehicle.

I'm not sure what year your vehicle is, but if it is newer than a 1995, it should have an OBD2 diagnostic system. If it does and you have a live data scan tool, plug the scanner in and crank the engine. If the sensor is bad, in most cases you will not have an RPM signal.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
