1999 Opel Astra Automatic transmission "D" is not

Sir,
Car is not running on "D" drive and a "S"(sporty) mark is continousily blinking on the display, whenever I start the car. Need a scanning of the car. And please also mention the reason for the same.

Yes, have the car's computer scanned. It will be easier to pin point your problem with that information.
