How do you remove the water pump? The motor mount is in front of two long bolts on the water pump. The top bolt is accessible but the bottom one is behind the motor mount. I removed all the bolts(4) from the frame side of the motor mount. I removed two more from the engine side but there is one more that is a bolt with a nut and I removed the nut. The motor mount cannot be removed because of this one bolt in the side of the engine through the motor mount. Anybody been here :?

I have a 1991 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight 3800, and just recently changed the water pump a coulple of weeks ago. The bottom bolt we were able to get off by first taking off the outer part of the pulley. Then the inner piece has holes that allow for an extension to fit through. I can't remember the size of the bolt, but it may have been a 12mm. I just put the socket on the bolt and then feed the extension through the hole in the pulley and then hooked on the ratchet. I hope that helps.
